A view that was changing utterly by the time I had even published this photograph: the former steelworks at Redcar on Teesside is being swept away, to be replaced by Teesworks: a huge development of industrial, office and port facilities. In the foreground, the old huts belonging to sea anglers will remain alongside South Gare.
