Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

The legend that is the Supermarine Spitfire fighter aircraft began in March 1936 when the prototype, then called simply the Type 300, flew for the first time at Eastleigh Aerodrome, now Southampton Airport. This is my depiction of that first airframe, K5054, shortly afterwards during test flights at the hands of the Vickers chief pilot, Joseph "Mutt" Summers.
Anyone who has researched it will know that debate continues to this day as to quite what shade of blue, grey or green it was painted. I am not going to join in.
